Pipelaying activity is scheduled to begin in the Seagoe Road area of Portadown this week.
This essential work forms part of a broader infrastructure programme dedicated to the installation of specialised stormwater pipelines across Northern Ireland.
To facilitate the safe execution of these works, a localised lane closure will be implemented on Seagoe Road. The affected stretch is located between Seagoe Mews and Seagoe Grove.
The project is being carried out by AG Wilson Civil Engineering. The contractor has confirmed that access for local residents will be maintained throughout the duration of the works, with an emphasis on completing the installation as efficiently as possible.
Construction activity in the Seagoe Road area is expected to continue until April.
The project team, comprising NI Water, AG Wilson Civil Engineering, and AtkinsRéalis, has expressed its gratitude to both motorists and residents for their ongoing patience. The scheme is designed to enhance the local wastewater network and significantly decrease the risk of out-of-sewer flooding in the region.
