Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore water supplies in the Cullen area after a burst water main.

The incident is causing disruption for customers in Cullen, Glenbane and surrounding parts of Co. Tipperary. Alternative water supplies are available at Cullen National School and Emly GAA Club.

Uisce Éireann's Pierce Faherty said every effort is being made to return services as quickly as possible. "We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our works continue."

Supply is expected to be restored by 9am on today, 9 March. However, customers at the end of the network or on higher ground may experience a longer wait as the system recharges.
