Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) will carry out essential upgrade works in the Dromore area from 23 March 2026, with the project expected to run for approximately 12 weeks.
The programme has been accelerated following recent faults and is designed to enhance reliability and create a stronger, more resilient electricity supply for customers.
Crews from NIE Networks and Morrows Contracts will be operating in the Denfort Lodge, Barban Hill, Lynn Crescent and Lynn Avenue areas. Staff will be on site throughout to assist with any queries.
Every effort will be made to minimise traffic disruption, although some traffic management will be necessary to enable the installation of new underground cables.
If your power is scheduled to be interrupted, you will receive advance notification cards by post with details of the dates and times your electricity supply will be affected.
NIE Networks has apologised for any inconvenience and thanked residents for their cooperation, adding that the long-term benefits will be evident once the improvements are complete.
Customers with questions or concerns can contact the Customer Helpline on 03457 643 643.
