Mechanical and engineering specialist Irwin M&E has promoted six Associate Directors to Executive Director positions as it continues to grow its operations and project portfolio across the UK and Ireland.
Alan Pedlow, Colin Monaghan, Garry Baxter, James Magwood, Neal Dodds and Robin Higgins have joined the company’s Executive Board, alongside existing Executive Directors Richard Megarity and Chris Adams and Managing Director Keith Stewart.
The promotions come during a period of sustained expansion for the business, which now employs more than 310 people and is increasing activity in the healthcare, education, hospitality and residential sectors. Recent project wins include Queen's University Belfast’s landmark £37 million Momentum One Zero project, as well as three major four-year contracts with the Education Authority in Northern Ireland for mechanical and electrical maintenance and minor works across three regions: Antrim and Newtownabbey and Mid and East Antrim; Belfast; and Newry, Mourne and Down. These awards strengthen Irwin M&E’s long-standing relationship with the Education Authority, having delivered similar contracts for over 10 years.
