CRJ Named Exclusive Dealer For TANA Recycling Machinery

CRJ has been announced as the exclusive dealer for the complete range of TANA recycling machinery across Ireland and the UK.

The agreement bolsters CRJ’s capacity to provide bespoke shredding and processing solutions for a broad spectrum of waste and recycling applications.

Tana Oy is a globally recognised manufacturer of robust machinery and digital systems, including the TanaConnect(R) platform. Their product line features landfill compactors, screening solutions, and specialised shredders designed to improve material recovery and operational efficiency.

A significant highlight of the new offering is the introduction of the TANA Shark and TANA Hammerhead. These single-shaft shredders are engineered to produce a finer output size, making them ideal for sectors with strict material specifications. These units will complement CRJ’s existing range of HAAS Tyron twin-shaft slow-speed shredders, allowing the company to address a more diverse array of waste streams and processing goals.

The TANA single-shaft range is particularly suited for size reduction in materials such as municipal solid waste (MSW), tyres, wood waste, textiles, and plastics. They are highly effective for the production of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) and solid recovered fuel (SRF), where consistent particle size is a critical requirement.

Jari Mennala, CEO at Tana Oy, said: "We are pleased to partner with CRJ who have built a strong reputation in the waste and recycling sector through their customer centricity, technical expertise and extensive service capabilities. We look forward to working together to bring Tana's intelligent waste processing solutions to more operators across the region."

Rob Symons, CRJ Director, added: "In many waste processing applications, achieving the right particle size is critical. The shredders is designed to give operators greater control over output while maintaining the durability and reliability required for demanding waste streams."

In addition to shredding technology, the dealership includes TANA’s disc screeners and landfill compactors, providing CRJ customers with integrated solutions for volume reduction and material handling.

Andrew Clarkson, CRJ Managing Director, said: "This dealership strengthens our slow speed shredder offering. HAAS and Tana work alongside each other, allowing us to support a much wider range of specified waste output and offer more complete, future-ready processing solutions."
