Coffey has hosted Uisce Éireann leaders at its Castletroy site for a focused discussion on Critical Risks.

Maria O'Dwyer, UE Infrastructure Delivery Director, and Alan Morrissey, H&S Senior Manager, joined the team to underline the importance of robust, everyday risk management.

Following a site walk, Maria and Alan convened the full team to listen, share perspectives and reiterate core health and safety priorities.

Their key messages were clear: nothing matters more than working safely and getting home safely; managing Critical Risks is a shared, daily responsibility; recent serious incidents across the wider industry show why vigilance can never slip; learning from adverse events only has impact when insights reach frontline teams; and when significant changes arise, everyone has both the responsibility and the authority to speak up, pause work, and agree a safe system of work.

Coffey said that managing Critical Risks is central to protecting its people and reflects the company’s commitment to doing the right thing and looking out for one another across every site and project.
