PJ Hegarty has reached a major milestone at the Railyard Apartments project in Cork city centre, being delivered for JCD Group and Clúid, with the completion of the slipform to the main tower core.

Specialist contractor Slipform Engineering began pouring the lift and stair core on Wednesday 18 March. The operation used more than 1,700 cubic metres of concrete and 225 tonnes of reinforcement, with teams working 24/7 for 10 days to achieve a final core height of over 85 metres.

The company said the achievement highlights the scale and ambition of the development and thanked all involved for delivering the works safely and efficiently. Further updates will be shared as the project progresses.
