Uisce Éireann has announced essential overnight works on the water network in Summerhill, Co Meath, with a planned outage that may affect customers.
The works are scheduled from 9pm today, 8 April, to 5am on Thursday, 9 April, and will be carried out at night to reduce disruption.
Uisce Éireann's Enda Cully said: "We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. We would like to thank our customers in advance for their patience and co-operation while we carry out these essential works on the network."
Once the works are completed, normal water pressure may take three to four hours to return as the network refills, particularly for properties on higher ground or at the end of the network.
Vulnerable customers registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct notifications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. Those wishing to register as a vulnerable customer or add an alternative contact can do so via the Vulnerable Customers page on the Uisce Éireann website.
