Uisce Éireann has announced a planned overnight interruption to water supply in the Twin Towns and surrounding areas tomorrow night to facilitate urgent repairs to a water main.
Customers in Stranorlar, Ballybofey, Mullindrait, Cavan-Cooladawson, Drumboe and neighbouring locations may experience reduced pressure or outages between 8pm on Tuesday, 14 April and 6am on Wednesday, 15 April while crews carry out the works.
Uisce Éireann's Damien O'Sullivan said, "We understand the inconvenience caused by an interruption to supply. Every effort will be made to limit the impact of these essential works, and we would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and co-operation. Following the completion of the repair works, it can take two to three hours for the normal water supply to return as water refills the network, particularly for those properties on higher ground or at the end of the network."
Customers registered as vulnerable with Uisce Éireann receive direct notifications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. To register as a vulnerable customer or provide an alternative contact, visit the Vulnerable Customers page.
