Affordable Purchase Scheme Launches At Coola Meadows, Kilbeggan

Westmeath County Council, working with Brennan McCann Developments Ltd. and supported by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, has announced an 'Affordable Purchase Scheme' at Coola Meadows, Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath.

A total of 10 affordable homes will be offered at a reduced price to eligible purchasers, released in two phases. The development includes a mix of 2-bed and 3-bed semi-detached and terraced properties.

The scheme is open to First Time Buyers and those who qualify under the ‘Fresh Start Principle’. Applicants should have Mortgage Approval in Principle in place when applying.

Phase 1 will make 4 homes available via an online application portal only, which goes live on Monday 11 May 2026 at 12 noon. Applications can be submitted from Monday 11 May 2026 at 12pm until Monday 1 June at midnight.
