An Taoiseach Micheál Martin has officially opened a significant expansion to the Cygnum manufacturing facility.
This development represents a pivotal moment for the company, effectively increasing its production capacity from approximately 1,400 to 2,500 housing units per year. The expansion is a strategic response to the growing demand for high-quality housing across Ireland.
The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including representatives from Enterprise Ireland and the Construction Industry Federation (CIF), both of whom were recognised for their ongoing support in advancing the construction sector.
The occasion also marked a significant milestone following the recent acquisition of Cygnum by the Chadwicks Group. Patrick Atkinson CDir, Chief Executive of Chadwicks Group, and John Paul O'Reilly, Managing Director of the Specialist Products Division, were both in attendance to celebrate the facility's growth.
For Cygnum, the expanded facility signifies an exciting new chapter of innovation and increased output, reinforcing the company's commitment to contributing to Ireland's national housing delivery objectives.
