The Farrans team currently working on Uisce Éireann projects in Monaghan recently volunteered their time to refresh the gardens at Brookvale House. The initiative was designed to enhance the facility's sensory space, creating a more vibrant and welcoming outdoor environment for both residents and staff members.
Brookvale House, operated by Praxis Care, provides essential support services for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The service focuses on enabling residents to lead independent and fulfilling lives within the local community.
The project involved approximately 30 volunteer hours, during which the team revitalised existing planting areas and upgraded the sensory garden. To ensure the long-term growth and beauty of the space, the volunteers also donated various gardening materials, including wildflower seeds and bulbs.
Farrans expressed gratitude to Ian Cardwell of Praxis Care for his collaboration and support throughout the project. The company also commended the volunteers for their teamwork and energy, highlighting their commitment to delivering a positive impact within the local Monaghan community.
