BAM brought together suppliers, subcontractors, clients and industry partners in Ireland for a dedicated supply chain engagement event, acknowledging the crucial role partners play in delivering projects across the region.
The gathering was designed to share strategic priorities, strengthen relationships and underline how collaboration underpins long-term, sustainable success.
Leaders from across the organisation joined representatives from BAM's supply chain and wider network for presentations, panel discussions and networking, focusing on building trust, improving early engagement and reinforcing the shared ambition of "Building a Sustainable Tomorrow."
Attendees heard insights on BAM's forward project pipeline spanning infrastructure, public-sector development and sustainability-led schemes. Speakers emphasised early involvement, clear communication and aligned expectations as foundations for successful delivery.
Alasdair Henderson, Executive Director, Ireland, said: "Partnership is central to everything we deliver, and events like this allow us to connect openly, listen carefully and continue building the collaborative foundation needed for the future."
A panel featuring Irish Rail, UCD, Guaranteed Irish, Grafton Group, OMC Technologies and Concast provided external perspectives, exploring the value of consistency, long-term partnerships and early collaboration across the construction sector.
Delegates also engaged with BAM teams through interactive sessions on Digital, Environmental Sustainability, Safe & Well and Social Sustainability, enabling practical discussions on opportunities, challenges and shared priorities.
Martin O'Brien, Head of Procurement of BAM Ireland, said: "Our supply chain is one of our greatest strengths, by working more openly and listening to our partners, we can improve delivery and create outcomes that benefit clients, communities and the entire industry."
Caroline Quinn, Director at Concast added: "Participating in the supply chain engagement event was a very valuable opportunity. As a subcontractor, it allowed us to meet the BAM management team and review the robust pipeline of projects planned for the years ahead. The event also highlighted the strength of collaboration, the importance of early engagement and to discuss the many exciting opportunities on the horizon"
Looking ahead, BAM UK & Ireland said it will continue working closely with supply chain partners to support continuous learning, strengthen collaboration and deliver lasting value for clients, communities and the wider industry.
