FP McCann Roofing's 'The Grandiose' Puts On A Standout Day At The Belfry

FP McCann Roofing welcomed customers, colleagues, industry partners and friends to The Belfry for The Grandiose, a purpose-built golf day designed to feel different and to underline the company's commitment to long-term partnerships.

Positioned as more than a routine corporate fixture, the event set out to deliver an experience that was distinctive, welcoming and worthwhile. The event website described the day as "a round that's beyond ordinary" and "a golf day, but not quite as you know it", a theme reflected throughout the programme.

Guests arrived to a warm reception at registration, with breakfast rolls, tea and coffee before a 12:00 shotgun start. Buggies were provided for all players to keep the round flowing, and the format fostered friendly competition, featuring team scoring, nearest‑the‑pin and longest‑drive contests, plus prizes for leading teams and individuals.

A vintage-inspired dress code encouraged classic attire from golf's golden era, adding character and reinforcing the day's aim to be memorable from first tee to final putt.

After play, attendees gathered in the clubhouse for post‑round drinks, followed by dinner and prize‑giving in the Warwick Suite. The evening offered further time to catch up, celebrate winners and recognise everyone who contributed to the event's smooth delivery.

For FP McCann Roofing, the purpose stretched beyond sport, creating space to spend meaningful time with the people behind key projects and to show appreciation for valued relationships.

"The Grandiose was created to be more than a traditional golf day. We wanted to give our customers, colleagues and partners an experience that felt memorable, personal and genuinely enjoyable. It was a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time together, show our appreciation, and celebrate the relationships that are so important to our business." — FP McCann spokesperson

The event proudly supported Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital Charity, helping to raise awareness of its work with young people and families.

FP McCann Roofing thanked XSEM for its support in organising and delivering the day, which helped ensure a polished, energetic and engaging experience from first arrivals to the final prize presentation.

A short highlights video capturing the occasion is available at: www.thegrandioseroofinggolfday.co.uk/video.

FP McCann Roofing extends thanks to all who attended and looks forward to building on these relationships at future events.
