Civil engineering and construction contractor Farrans has announced the renewal of its membership with the British Aviation Group (BAG) alongside joining ADS, the UK’s trade association for aerospace, defence, security, and space. The dual memberships are intended to strengthen the company's position and support within the aviation and defence infrastructure sectors.
Farrans has established a portfolio of delivering critical infrastructure projects within highly regulated and complex UK aviation environments. The company's previous project experience includes works at Leeds Bradford Airport, Bristol Airport, and Luton Airport, encompassing passenger terminals, public transport interchanges, logistics hubs, and operational facilities designed to minimize disruption to live operations.
The British Aviation Group represents approximately 200 companies operating within aviation and airport development, collaborating with the UK Department for Business and Trade to connect international clients with British industry expertise. As a long-standing member, Farrans aims to continue collaborating with industry partners, sharing best practices, and contributing to sector growth.
By joining ADS, Farrans gains access to an organisation dedicated to advancing leadership, innovation, and sustainable growth across the aerospace, defence, security, and space industries. The new membership will allow the contractor to engage more closely with sector partners, participate in strategic discussions, and support the infrastructure requirements of secure and resilient operations.
