NHBC, the UK's leading new-home warranty and insurance provider, has confirmed that four Braidwater Group site managers and their teams have earned its flagship Quality Award in this year's Pride in the Job Awards.
The recipients are Eamonn Devlin (Roe Wood, Limavady), Kevin Cosgrove (Beech Hill View, Derry/Londonderry), Ryan Tannahill (Black Ridge at Glenmona, Belfast) and Criona O'Hara (The Cashel at H2, Derry/Londonderry). The honours acknowledge their pivotal role in delivering homes on programme, running safe sites and achieving exemplary build standards.
Often described as the 'Oscars' of housebuilding, Pride in the Job highlights best practice, celebrates dedication and rewards excellence. It is widely regarded as the sector's foremost competition and a benchmark of outstanding site management.
Judging is rigorous, with each site evaluated across six core areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.
Ryan Boyle, Chief Operating Officer of the Braidwater Group, said: "Pride in the Job is the most sought-after award in the house-building industry and I would like to congratulate Eamonn, Kevin, Ryan, Criona and their teams on achieving NHBC Quality Awards. Being recognised amongst the UK's top site managers is a testament to their dedication, professionalism and commitment to delivering high-quality homes for our customers.
"At Braidwater Group, quality is at the heart of everything we do. These awards reflect the hard work of our site teams and our continued commitment to building homes and communities that exceed expectations."
From a field of 7,500 sites across the UK, 450 site managers have received a Quality Award in the first stage of NHBC's Pride in the Job Awards 2026, placing them among the top 6% nationwide.
Commenting on the awards, Cassandra Codling, Senior Regional Director at NHBC, said: "Congratulations to Eamonn, Kevin, Ryan and Criona, who have demonstrated incredible dedication, passion, commitment and leadership to produce homes of exceptional quality. The judges look for site managers who go beyond strong performance and demonstrate qualities that lift a good site manager to an exceptional one.
"The competition is at the heart of NHBC's core purpose to raise standards in house building. It inspires site managers to make their mark on the industry, earning the respect of their peers and leaving a legacy of homes built to the highest quality standards."
The Quality Award winners now progress to the next stages, with Seal of Excellence and Regional Award recipients to be announced in the autumn, before the national Supreme Award winners are revealed in January 2027.
