Over 40 participants gathered at The MAC in Belfast for Phoenix Energy's first Stakeholder Engagement Forum, which coincided with the release of its latest Responsible Business Report.
The company brought together representatives from government, industry, community and consumer organisations to outline priorities and invite candid feedback to inform its future direction.
Facilitated discussions explored inclusive service delivery, future metering solutions and the role of the gas network in the energy transition. The format aimed to surface practical insights, challenge assumptions and encourage collaboration, with customer needs and real-world experience at the forefront.
The annual Responsible Business Report, unveiled at the forum, sets out Phoenix Energy’s social, environmental and economic contributions across Northern Ireland.
Speaking at the event, Kailash Chada, Group Chief Executive at Phoenix Energy, said: "It is extremely encouraging to see such a strong turnout at our first stakeholder engagement forum, and to hear such open and constructive contributions from across the room. Events like this are an important part of how we listen, test our thinking and ensure our plans are grounded in real experience. The feedback we’ve received will play an important role as we look ahead."
Jonathan Martindale, Director of Business Development at Phoenix Energy added: "It is so valuable to have such a diverse range of stakeholders in the room. Hearing different perspectives is essential to ensuring we deliver a service that works for our customers in a practical and meaningful way."
