The Braidwater Group has been named a finalist in two categories at the 2026 Northern Ireland Construction Awards, earning recognition across both residential development and major infrastructure.

Regarded as one of the sector's leading annual showcases, the awards celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement throughout Northern Ireland's construction industry.

Braidwater is shortlisted for Private Housing Project of the Year for Beech Hill View in Derry/Londonderry, and for Infrastructure Project of the Year (Above £10m) for The Cashel (H2) in Derry.

Speaking after the announcement, Darren Farnan, Marketing Manager at the Braidwater Group, said the company was delighted with the acknowledgement. "Being shortlisted in two highly competitive categories is a fantastic achievement for the entire Braidwater team. These nominations reflect the quality, dedication and expertise that go into every project we deliver.

Mr Farnan said the recognition reflects the collective effort of staff and partners. "These achievements are only possible because of the dedication of our people and the continued support of our clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers. Their professionalism and commitment to excellence continue to drive Braidwater forward."

Ryan Boyle, Managing Director of the Braidwater Group, said the nominations underline the company's consistent focus on quality and delivery. "Our teams continue to set exceptionally high standards across every aspect of the business, from planning and design through to construction and project completion.

"We are incredibly proud of everyone involved in these shortlisted projects. Their commitment, collaboration and attention to detail ensure we continue to deliver developments that benefit our customers, communities and the wider region."

Winners of the 2026 Northern Ireland Construction Awards will be revealed at a ceremony later this year.
