Site investigation works linked to the Renmore Neighbourhood Park masterplan will take place in Nolan Park, Melody's Field and adjoining public realm areas.
The programme will assess groundwater permeability for potential groundwater control and examine the depth and quality of topsoil across the site. Findings will guide the next stage of design for the Renmore Neighbourhood Park project.
To protect public safety, temporary and localised access restrictions will operate from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, and 8.00am to 1.00pm on Saturdays while the works are under way. Nolan Park and Melody's Field will remain open and sports pitches will stay available, though brief disruptions and limited access to some areas may occur.
Works are scheduled to begin on 13 July and are expected to last about three weeks, concluding on or around 30 July 2026. The council thanks the public for their patience and co-operation during this period.
