Construction firm FP McCann has been appointed to deliver the Translink Active Travel – Cycle Parking Project, providing secure, modern and accessible bike storage across the public transport network.
The programme will see facilities installed or enhanced at 20 locations, aiming to make it easier for passengers to combine cycling with rail and bus services.
FP McCann said the award builds on its previous work with Translink and demonstrates a shared focus on high-quality infrastructure that improves the passenger experience while supporting the long-term development of Northern Ireland's transport network.
Working with both new and established supply chain partners, the company plans to deliver the scheme safely and efficiently, meeting the highest standards.
Activity will take place within live railway environments, with an emphasis on collaboration, innovation and the safety of the workforce, passengers and the wider public.
FP McCann said it looks forward to working closely with Translink and other stakeholders in the months ahead and will share updates as delivery progresses.
