GRAHAM has been appointed to YORbuild Major Works 2, a £1.5bn procurement framework aimed at improving communities across Yorkshire, the Humber and adjoining areas.
It is the company's first time on the YORbuild Major Works framework.
Part of the wider YOR framework family alongside YORcivil and YORconsult, YORbuild Major Works 2 offers public and third-sector clients a quicker, more efficient route to skilled contractors, helping deliver higher-quality buildings and stronger local economies.
The framework covers major building programmes valued at over £10m, including new build, refurbishment, contractor design, decarbonisation and maintenance projects.
While focused on Yorkshire and the Humber, it also extends to the North East, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and parts of Leicestershire. GRAHAM has joined Lot 2, which provides access to building projects valued at more than £30m and represents an estimated £225m of work each year.
The award reflects GRAHAM's extensive experience delivering large-scale projects in the region and its record in managing complex schemes. The company’s Civil Engineering division is already a member of the YORcivil Framework and is currently delivering the Jock’s Lodge project through that route.
Roseanne Edge, National Framework Director at GRAHAM, said: "GRAHAM has a long-standing track record of delivering major construction projects across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions, and this appointment reflects the experience, expertise and local knowledge we have built over many years working in these communities.
"Frameworks such as YORbuild play a vital role in helping public and third-sector organisations deliver projects that make a meaningful difference to the places and people they serve. We are pleased to be joining the framework for the first time and look forward to working closely with framework partners to identify opportunities where we can add value and support the successful delivery of these ambitions."
