Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is inviting people who live, work in, visit or travel through Lambeg to share their views on plans for a new car park on Station Road.
The proposal outlines a 13-bay facility, including accessible and parent-and-child spaces, intended to ease parking pressures, improve access to nearby amenities and green spaces, and enhance safety for pedestrians and road users. Before any decision is taken, the council wants to hear from the community.
The consultation questionnaire is open from Thursday 30 July until 12 noon on Sunday 16 August. Residents can complete it online at forms.cloud.microsoft/e/jnAaEMxQTC.
Alderman James Baird, Chair of the Regeneration and Growth Committee, said: "We want to hear from everyone who has an interest in Lambeg. Whether you live in the area, run a local business, visit regularly or simply travel through the village, your views matter. This consultation is an opportunity to help shape proposals that could improve parking, accessibility and safety for the local community, so I would encourage everyone to get involved and have their say."
