Cork County Council has announced a vacancy under its Cost Rental Scheme for an A-rated, three-bedroom family home at An Cnocan, Milleencoola, Bantry, Co. Cork.
Located in a desirable residential area, the property is offered at a rent at least 28% below comparable private-market levels.
The Cost Rental Scheme is aimed at people who do not own a home, whose income is above the social housing threshold but who find private rents unaffordable. It provides a secure, long-term tenancy at below-market rent and is supported by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
Applications will be accepted from 12 noon on 17 August until 12 noon on 31 August 2026 via the online application portal at corkcoco.ie. The home will be allocated by lottery to applicants who submit all required documentation and are deemed eligible for the scheme. Successful renters will enter into a tenancy with Cork County Council.
