Chadwicks Group Completes Refurb Project With The Irish Wheelchair Association

Construction News Image

Chadwicks Group has completed one of the largest projects delivered through its longstanding partnership with Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA), transforming accessible apartments at the Carmel Fallon Centre & Apartments in Clontarf, Dublin.

The refurbishment saw The Panelling Centre, Chadwicks Group's specialist supplier of kitchens, wardrobes, flooring and interior solutions, donate new kitchens for each apartment.

Chadwicks Coolock supplied the remaining materials required for the project, including flooring, paint and a range of building materials, as well as equipment to support improvements to the building’s exterior and surrounding grounds.

The combined contribution has helped enhance the comfort, quality and accessibility of the apartments for residents.

Chadwicks Group became an official charity partner of IWA in 2021 and has since worked with branches across the country to support community centres and accessible homes. Through the partnership, the company has provided building materials, expertise and practical assistance to improve facilities for IWA members, residents and staff.

The Carmel Fallon Centre project marks another significant milestone in the partnership, highlighting the role local Chadwicks branches can play in supporting communities and helping to provide more comfortable and accessible homes.

Commenting on the completed refurbishment, Tara Brennan, Marketing Director at Chadwicks Group, said: "We're proud to see the transformation of the Carmel Fallon Centre and Apartments completed. As one of the largest projects we've delivered with Irish Wheelchair Association, it’s fantastic to see these apartments transformed into brighter, more comfortable spaces that residents can enjoy every day. I'd like to thank our teams at Chadwicks Coolock and The Panelling Centre for their support in helping create more comfortable, welcoming homes for residents. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Irish Wheelchair Association and making a positive difference in communities across Ireland."
