Fingal County Council has unveiled a Shopfront Enhancement Scheme aimed at brightening town and village centres across the county, urging local businesses to submit expressions of interest.

Administered by the Town Regeneration Office, support will cover works such as shopfront and brickwork repairs, external painting and the replacement of signage.

Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Tony Murphy said: "It presents a unique opportunity for businesses located along the streets of our towns and villages to refresh, repaint and restore vibrancy to their premises. I would encourage businesses to avail of this excellent opportunity to enhance their premises."

Grants will fund up to 90% of improvement costs, capped at €2,000 per eligible property, subject to terms and conditions.

Expressions of interest must be submitted to Fingal County Council by 12 noon on 28 August 2026.
