CITB Northern Ireland (CITBNI), working with the Department for Communities, The Heritage Council, National Museums NI and The King's Foundation, has secured £995,007 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver 'Shared Heritage Futures: An All Ireland Skills Project'.

At the core of the initiative is the All Ireland Heritage Skills Programme, an annual scheme that supports the next generation of heritage craftspeople through specialist training, industry placements and an accredited Level 3 qualification in Heritage Skills (Construction). The award, made possible by National Lottery players, aims to tackle critical skills shortages and safeguard the island's shared built heritage for future generations.
