MukAway, the materials management platform from MA EnviroTech Group, has agreed a three-year, group-wide deal with GRAHAM in one of the platform's largest commercial wins to date.
The agreement brings the entire GRAHAM business onto MukAway, establishing it as the contractor's primary system for managing materials strategy across all live projects. GRAHAM's participation is expected to showcase the platform and encourage other contractors and developers to collaborate via MukAway to drive efficiency.
The scale of GRAHAM's operations was pivotal to the decision. Its infrastructure portfolio across the UK and Ireland moves earth at significant volumes, including nationally important projects, and MukAway's capacity to manage that material movement efficiently, transparently and with full visibility proved decisive.
MukAway's ESG dashboard was equally influential. It gives GRAHAM teams real-time access to sustainability data, translating complex materials and carbon information into clear, actionable insight at the point of decision-making. Commercial terms reinforced the value: for transactions under 25 miles, the average rate achieved through MukAway is below £10 per cubic metre, delivering savings that made the switch straightforward for a contractor of GRAHAM's scale.
The relationship began a month ago when Alastair Lewis of GRAHAM visited MukAway's Birchwood headquarters. The deal was formally signed in Belfast, where MukAway CEO Fraser Linaker and Non-Executive Director Mark Stuart completed the agreement in person.
Alastair Lewis, Contracts Director, GRAHAM, said: "We deal in huge volumes of material movement across our infrastructure projects in the UK and Ireland, and we needed a platform that could match that scale. MukAway does exactly that. The ESG dashboard alone has changed how we look at our sustainability performance and for the first time, we've got that data at our fingertips, in a form we can actually use. This deal reflects how central MukAway has become to our materials strategy."
Fraser Linaker, CEO of MukAway, said: "Signing GRAHAM is a landmark moment for this business. A contractor operating at this scale, across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, choosing MukAway as its go-to platform for materials strategy tells you everything about where this industry is heading.
"This isn't just a commercial win for us, it opens up real opportunities for every subscriber on the platform, as volumes from GRAHAM flow through it. We believe this will be a game changer for the business and the industry. To have a heavyweight infrastructure partner bought into the system and so enthusiastic about not only its potential but its here and now capabilities is a major statement to the market."
