Undergraduate placements provide hands-on experience either over a full year or during the summer, and high-performing placement students may be offered bursaries to support their final year of study.

Apprenticeships are available for those who want to earn while they learn, blending live project work with structured training and recognised qualifications alongside experienced industry professionals.

Early-career colleagues at Farrans contribute to nationally significant projects, particularly across aviation, water and energy, helping to deliver infrastructure that benefits communities throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.

The application window is open until December 2026, with interviews taking place throughout autumn and offers to be issued in early 2027.

Dominic Lavery, Managing Director of Farrans, said: "Our early careers cohort is a highly-valued group within our business, making up 10% of our workforce, and we are delighted to open applications for these 60 positions. Our industry needs skills and talent today to deliver the infrastructure of tomorrow and we have invested year-on-year in growing our graduate, placement and apprenticeship intake. We are looking for ambitious people who are ready to learn, to challenge themselves and to play their part in delivering projects that make a real difference across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Whether you're a graduate, looking for a placement year or an apprenticeship, Farrans offers an environment where you can build your skills, grow your confidence and develop a rewarding career."
