The FAS/Weber, Plastering Trainee of the Year Award, took place recently at The Tuam FAS Training Centre.

The Weber Shield, was presented to plasterer Ronan Daly by Weber Facades Business Manager, Wilfie Hanna, and the runner up prize was presented by Eamonn Mahoney, Sales Manager, Facades Systems, Galway

FAS, Ireland’s National Training and Employment Authority, in establishing The Construction Skills Certificate Scheme provides unique opportunities for all those seeking to work within the construction industry.

In presenting the Shield, Wilfie Hanna saw the sponsoring of the award initiated by the Weber Application Manager, Ronnie Garvey, as the start of a great relationship between FAS and Weber countrywide.

Ronnie Garvey in introducing the Award thanked the apprentices for participating and in particular the plastering instructing instructor, Sean Feerick, for making the inaugural event such a success.
