Chambers Ireland Transport Users Council recently highlighted Ireland’s critical infrastructure deficits in its review of the Programme for Government.
Its members agreed that the issues identified must be addressed as a matter of urgency before Ireland becomes a first world economy with a third world infrastructure.
Dan Loughrey, Chair of Chambers Ireland Transport Users Council said: “A world-class transport infrastructure is crucial for future growth and in this context, it is imperative that Government prioritises these key infrastructural deficits. This means delivering Transport 21 proposals on time and on budget while also taking a holistic view in planning for Ireland’s long-term future.”
