A University of Ulster property expert has been sharing the findings of his cutting-edge research at a prestigious event hosted by the Prince’s Foundation.
Professor Stanley McGreal, from the University’s Built Environment Research Institute, was a speaker at ‘Investing in Place’, held at Highgrove House and addressed by the Prince of Wales.
The event brought together key industry leaders across the property sector including major financial institutional, property companies, land-owners and representatives of professional and research organisations.
The focus of the proceedings was on how new development and investment models might be developed to support the delivery of sustainable urbanism.
Professor McGreal focused on the outcome of cutting-edge regeneration research undertaken in the Built Environment Research Institute and funded by the ESRC into the benchmarking of investment returns and by the Investment Property Forum into the development of a Regeneration Investment Vehicle.
