Since its launch in January, the direct marketing service 'Make My House My Home' has sent almost 12,000 packs of supplier’s product literature to self builders across Ireland.
The pack goes directly to named individuals who have just received full planning permission to build a single dwelling.
The key advantages of the service are that businesses only choose the counties they wish to target; packs won’t contain directly competing products; businesses receive details on who received their literature each month; and the service costs as little as a third of the price of doing it in-house.
Plans are currently underway to develop a new pack that will enable businesses to also target the lucrative 'home extensions market' in Northern Ireland.
