Magline Wins Twin Awards At SHOP 2007

StepLift Ltd of Ireland has been awarded the coveted 'Best Overseas Product' for the Powered Gemini hand delivery cart at the SHOP 2007 show in Dublin.

The Powered Gemini impressed the judges at this year's show with its battery powered hand delivery cart. The world's first powered hand delivery cart, the Powered Gemini is able to move up to 1000lbs loads with the operation of a single paddle switch. Battery operated, the two speed motor will operate for two miles if fully loaded or further if the load is less. The battery can easily be recharged using a conventional electric socket of vehicle 12v point.

The Powered Gemini also won a 'Highly Commended' for 'Product of the Show' at the event. StepLift's managing director, Bernard Ryan, stated: "The response to the Powered Gemini at the show has been remarkable. Having worked in the courier industry for some time I am well aware of many of the health and safety issues faced every day by couriers and people working in the food and drink industry."

Bernard added: "Products such as the Powered Gemini can really make an impact to reducing the amount of work related injuries, while saving logistics, couriers and food and drink related industries a fortune in legal and medical fees."
