Northern Irish fabricator Dungannon Window Company Ltd has recently invested in a new Wegoma WSA4VE vertical quad welder to increase the speed and efficiency of its sliding sash window production.
Established in 1987, the Dungannon-based company was the first in Ireland to specialise in fabricating vertical sliding sash windows over ten years ago. Now the family-run firm manufactures and supplies hundreds of sliding sash windows per week to window companies throughout Ireland amid the building boom that shows few signs of cooling off yet.
"Having made a name for ourselves with a popular niche product, demand is still high for this type of window that is particularly suited for property styles over here. So upgrading to this Wegoma welder has made a huge difference in terms of product quality and quicker frame production," commented Managing Director, Tom Givans. "The improved accuracy ensures the frames are absolutely square and its self-ejection system makes lifting the frames off both easier and safer.
"Providing a quality product and maintaining our exacting standards of customer service are very important to us. Wegoma's machine fitted the bill for us in terms of reliability, capability and value for money to maintain this momentum," he added.
