Engineers Ireland Company Of The Year Awards

Engineers Ireland will host its annual Continual Professional Development (CPD) Awards in a few weeks' time.

The CPD Company of the Year Award will held at a ceremony, exclusive to CPD accredited organisations on 17 October.

The Award, now in its fourth year, helps to identify and share the best CPD practices and to celebrate the achievements of accredited organisations.

It will also recognise innovation in companies where staff have demonstrated clear-cut business benefits.

Twelve organisations have been shortlisted for the 2007 Award this year, which include Duffy Chartered Engineers, P.J. Hegarty and Sons and Downes Associates.

Previous winners include ABB Ltd and Boston Scientific (Galway) who are both in the running again this year.

Billy Kelleher, Minister for Labour Affairs, will announce the overall winner at the breakfast ceremony on the 17th of this month.
