Canopies Ireland Celebrates Over 10 years Of Innovation

Construction News Image
Canopies Ireland is proud to have been serving its customers now for just over ten years, as Ireland’s largest manufacturer of G.R.P. innovative building components.

Over the last decade Canopies Ireland has grown dramatically, operating from a 20,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, based just outside Dungannon Co Tyrone. This facility enables them to offer a bespoke, flexible and quality service to all their customers.

Established in 1996 by John McGurk, a joiner by trade, the company began by specialising in the retail and home improvement market. However, as the Construction Industry began to grow at an unprecedented rate, the need for quality and speedy products on site was essential. Hence, Canopies Irelands prefabricated door canopies and bay windows were the obvious solution.

As the industry grew, so did the product range. This growth can be directly related to the fact that over the last number of years Canopies Ireland have listened to their customers, reacted to their needs and delivered products tailored to suit their developments.

Each of these products are being repeatedly used by key Architects, Builders, Developers and many Housing Associations throughout the north and south of Ireland. Now offering not just G.R.P door canopies, but G.R.P chimney stacks, parapit copings, stringcourse, bay windows, door surrounds, columns and dentil blocks.

Also, for those residential developments that have been restricted to using traditional materials, Canopies Ireland can save time by supplying a bespoke range of pre-made timber carcasses and gallows brackets.

Canopies Ireland will be available with brand new prefabricated products at Plan Expo, Stand P14 at the RDS, 8 - 10 November.

John McGurk, Managing Director seized this opportunity to offer a: "Sincere thank you to all our current customers and suppliers in the north and south of Ireland, who have worked alongside us over the past 10 years and we will look forward to continuing this partnership into the future."
