Mantis Cranes, the Irish manufacturer of self erecting cranes, has appointed Robert Rowlette as its new General Manager.
Mr Rowlette, a chartered accountant and native of Sligo, has been associated with Mantis Cranes in a consultative capacity since the company was established in 1999. Prior to joining Mantis he was a partner in Northwest Consulting in Sligo, providing business development services to a wide variety of clients in the North west of Ireland.
Announcing the new appointment, Managing Director Seamus McMenamin said: "I am delighted to have Robert on board as he brings a wealth of business experience to the company and will work with other team members in bringing the company to the next level."
Mr Rowlette's role will incorporate the implementation of the company's business plan, which will see its growth in Ireland and in the key overseas markets of Great Britain and the USA.
"This growth will only be achieved by being responsive to customer needs and by the introduction of relevant new products and services," said Mr Rowlette. "We will continue to invest in the development of the entire team to meet the challenges ahead."
