£1.5m To Be Spent On Belfast City Centre Club Refurbishments

Over £1.5 million will be spent on the refurbishment of two popular Belfast bars.

The Fly will get a new bar and night club while The Apartment will have two separate bars and a night club over three floors following the acquisition of the neighbouring premises on Donegall Square West.

Stephen Magorrian, MD of Botanic Inns, said: "With tourism in Belfast continuing to increase, growing the numbers of visitors to the city, these renovations will develop the exciting potential of two of the city's most popular venues."

The company employs over 600 people and has 14 outlets including McHughes, The Whig and Madison's.

The company was included within the Financial Times Top 50 Workplaces 2007 and The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For 2007.
