Clontarf Golf Club Member's Agree To €180m Buyout

Members of Clontarf Golf Club have agreed to Capel Development's €180m buyout package following a vote at Dublin's Marino Institute.

A total of 538 of the 670 full golf club members voted in favour of the transfer plus cash offer.

Subject to Dublin County Council agreeing to the sale of the club's long term sporting use lease the club will move to Portmarnock Links.

As part of the deal golf club members will get their own clubhouse and receive €100,000 each.
