Housing Project Secures Additional Funding

An additional €746,000 has been sanctioned for a housing project at Gortboy, Newcastle West, according to Limerick Fianna Fáil TD, John Cregan.

This funding is supplementary to €5.86m funding already approved in respect of the housing project, and has been confirmed by the Minister for Housing, Urban Renewal and Development, Batt O'Keeffe TD

"This project has now been approved a total of €6,607,900 in funding," said Deputy Cregan.

"The accommodation is being provided by Cluid Voluntary Housing Association Ltd in co-operation with Limerick County Council."

The housing project will be a significant boost to the Newcastle West area and will provide for 42 units of family accommodation.

"I wish Cluid continued success with the project," said Deputy Cregan.
