A Belfast based architecture firm has been granted planning permission on behalf of developer Glenkerrin for the €600 million Number One Ballsbridge project.
HKR Architects will transform the 2.2 acre Dublin city site through a 430,000 sq ft mixed-use development which will include 109 apartments, office and leisure spaces. HKR are well known for their design of Belfast's tallest building, the Aurora building on Great Victoria Street.
Speaking about the prestigious Dublin 4 plans, HKR Director Michael Galbraith said: "Number One Ballbridge is an exciting and challenging project and represents a unique opportunity to develop one of Ireland's most prominent landmark sites.
"Such a successful proposal in Dublin demonstrate the strength of HKR's unique and effective design capabilities which are evident across our entire network."
