Planning permission has been granted for a 5,600sq m extension of Google's European Headquarters in Dublin.
Despite almost 40 objections being made against the proposal, Dublin City Council gave the go-ahead to developer Liam Carroll for the Gasworks development.
The expansion of Gordon House was given the green light subject to a number of standard conditions. It has been reported that Mr Carroll will have to pay more than €740,000 to Dublin City Council under the levy scheme, and will also have to pay a yet to be determined financial contribution to the Dublin Docklands Development Authority in respect of this permission.
