€200m Project To Create 'Hundreds Of Jobs'

Hundreds of jobs are to be created with the construction of a multi-million euro commercial development in Co Westmeath.

The €200 million Blackhall project, in Mullingar, will include up to 30 retail outlets, a hotel, restaurants and a multi-storey car park.

The developers of the project have revealed more than 1,500 permanent jobs would be created once the complex is complete, while hundreds of construction workers will be employed during the building of the shopping centre.
