Two Northern Ireland construction firms have been included in the Sunday Times list of the top 100 UK private businesses.

Co Antrim housebuilder, Hagan Homes and Co Down construction contractor, Graham have been ranked 63 and 85 respectively, in the 2008 Profit Track 100 league table.

The Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 league table is published for the ninth year this weekend and ranks Britain's fastest-growing private companies by average profit growth, over the last three years of available audited accounts.

Both companies have returned highly impressive annual profit growth of over 50% over the last three years, according to the league table.

Co Tyrone metal recycler, T-Met was the only other Northern Ireland company to be included in the league, ranked at 67.
