Select List Of Effluent Disposal Personnel Planned For Co Donegal

Donegal County Council is proposing to introduce - from November 2008 - a select list of personnel with appropriate qualifications and skills in the preparation of assessments of the suitability of sites for proprietary treatment systems for effluent disposal.

Following introduction of the Select List, applicants for planning permission where a treatment system is proposed, and who are required by legislation to submit a site suitability assessment, will be required to use a person on the Select List to complete the Assessment.

Donegal County Council will review the Select List annually.

Applications are now invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for inclusion on the list. The Council will assess all applications received and will invite those meeting the basic qualification criteria to interview before compiling the definitive list. Interviews are likely to be held in the autumn.
