Cork-based O'Flynn Construction has acquired a 13.96% shareholding in property company Blackrock.
A formal stock market notification has revealed that O’Flynn’s investment company, Rosecastle Ltd, now hold 81,414,000 ordinary shares in Blackrock, which spun off from Fyffes in 2006.
Owned by brothers John and Michael O’Flynn, O’Flynn Construction, first purchased a 9.2% stake in Blackrock last year.
Despite recent market changes, Blackrock has stated it is well positioned to face the current environment, with a geographically diverse portfolio, that matches its sector.
