Cavan-based Kingspan is to wrap up its timber-frame manufacturing operations in Wales.
The plant was originally opened by Alpha Timber Frame in 1997, and subsequently taken over by Century Homes in 2002.
Located in Wales, the factory named Tredegar, was purchased by Kingspan in 2005, following a merger of the two companies.
Ownership was then part of the Kingspan Century subsidiary and eventually Kingspan Off-Site.
The Cavan owned building materials giant has taken the decision to cease operation at the plant in "response to the current slowdown in the UK housebuilding market".
This is the most recent move by the firm who has, in the past months, consolidated its operations at three other UK sites.
This, according to Kingspan, was in order to refocus the company's timber frame operation in Milton Keynes to provide a service-led offering to customers.
