Roofline Trends Point To Colour Choices

Construction News Image
The Roofline Quarterly Trends report has shown a substantial increase in the importance stockists and installers place on providing a colour range.

Irish firm Freefoam has recognised this need with its wide range of products, which it said it has achieved through "continuous innovation".

Freefoam is one of the few manufacturers to offer ten colours as standard: white, black, leather brown, wine red, rustic green, regal blue, pale gold, sable, storm grey and dark grey.

Freefoam also offers 20-year extended guarantee on all registered coloured installations.

The firm said its guarantee "emphasises Freefoam’s confidence in the quality of its colour range".

Traditionally demand for colour roofline products has always been stronger in Ireland, where it currently stands at 50% but the UK has seen an increased in recent years and demand now stands at almost 20%.

The increasing demand in the UK roofline market is further emphasised by the importance placed on providing a colour range in the May 2008 Roofline Quarterly Trend report, published on behalf of Freefoam by Michael Rigby Associates.

The result from May 2008 showed that 45% of respondents rated providing a colour range as extremely important.

Brendan Hyland, Marketing Manager, said: "We have been paying close attention to the demand and importance placed on coloured roofline products over the past number of years.

"As homeowners and developers want to differentiate their properties, roofline is the obvious place to start and as demand continues to increase Freefoam has the reputation to meet and exceed customer expectations with regard to quality coloured products."
