Council Announce M50 Closure For Mechanical Joint Work

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close the M50 Northbound on-ramp at the Leopardstown Roundabout.

The closure is required for the installation of a new mechanical joint and permanent pavement works.

The dates for the intended closure is from 19 September, from 8pm on Friday to 6am on Monday 22 September.

There will be a similar closure from 8pm on Monday 22 to 6am on Tuesday 23 September and from 8pm on Tuesday 23 September to 6am on Wednesday 24 September.

Traffic will be diverted from the Leopardstown Roundabout, E.S.B.entrance towards Murphystown Road Overbridge over M50, R113, Leopardstown Road South, R113 to M50 Junction 14 Roundabout, (Sandyford Rotary), M50 side road Northbound (Green Route Northbound), M50 Northbound on ramp at Ballinteer Interchange (Junction 13).

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and diversions will be signposted.
