CEMEX NI representatives swapped their stilettos for builder's boots and showed off their building prowess in aid of this years Habitat for Humanity Construction Week Women's Build Day, in Belfast.
The all-female squad who are from CEMEX NI have assisted in the construction of two semi-detached houses which are part of a wider 18 house development.
CEMEX NI pledged their support to the Challenge, by donating construction material in kind to be used during the week and committed a team of workers to participate in every day of the challenge.
CEMEX NI Regional Director Paul Connolly, who participated in an on-site build earlier in the week, said: "We were delighted when Habitat for Humanity approached us regarding 'The Construction Challenge'. We donated material in kind to be used and committed five teams to the Build - one for every day of the build.
"I thought the Women's Build Day was a terrific idea and encourages more women to become involved in what is typically a male dominated Sector. All in all we have a thoroughly enjoyable and fulfilling week.
"Despite the weathers best attempts to dampen our spirits the atmosphere on site was great and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those at Habitat for Humanity and wish them all the best in their upcoming projects," added Mr Connolly.
